Advention has been in development for more than 5 years. Most of the time, it served as an experimental app. In this multipart series, I am gonna take a look at how it evolved over time.

Source Code Command line utility for copying photos into a single location. The target location can use several variables. For example {year} can be used to sort photos into directories by year. The date is read from exif or file if exif is not available. It can skip duplicates and copy photos with the same name.
